Meet Poncho, an 18 year old handsome gelding standing 14.2 hands. Such a quiet, easy going guy that has been well taken care off. Over the last 10 years he’s been between two families, being ridden by all ages and level of riders. In the arena he is simple to ride and to get along with. True one hand neck rein, moves off leg, easy transitions, pivots and backs up lightly. Has been trail ridden everywhere , in all types of terrain. Sure footed, traffic/quad/dirtbike safe, will go out alone with no problems! Poncho has been shown in ranch pattern classes, trail and ranch rail. I would not call him a finished barrel or pole horse but he knows the pattern and has done that as well. Has some of the best ground manners, farrier favorite and easy to trust for anyone to be around him. Loads, clips, bathes , stands tied and to be saddled. Its very rare that I even consider the term “bomb proof” but this guys comes extremely close. He is safe for the whole family, any level of rider and great to learn on. Poncho does not require any maintenance or special shoeing, he’s an easy keeper. Current on feet, teeth, shots and deworming.
