Somethin N Red is an AQHA 9 year old mare standing 15.1 hands. She is by Repeated In Red who has his ROM in performance and was 2008 AQHA Congress performance halter stallion. He is an own son of Invitational Only who himself holds impeccable records. She is out of Old Gold Passion , who is a daughter of Zippos Old Gold an AQHA top 10 all leading sire of performance horses and multiple champion sire. On her face papers you’ll also find Barpassers Image, Hotrodders Jet Set, Zippo Pine Bar and Barpasser.
Rayna is definitely a looker and will grab someone’s attention anywhere she goes. In her younger days she was shown halter then went into showing. Most recently she was being shown in the Tucson area in halter, showmanship and pleasure by an amateur rider. Works off leg beautifully, pivots around, side passes and spur stops. Rayna will also move out nicely when asked and her extended trot is even comfortable. Been used for riding lessons at all levels and is very forgiving, tries to please each of her riders. She is not one that has to be ridden every day to keep sane which is always a plus. Not only can she show, but will go down the trail as well. I believe she also has the ability to be shown English and do some ranch classes. A well versatile mare that can do a lot for her rider. She baths, clips, ties and good for the farrier. Due to her owners schedule she isn’t fully conditioned for the shows but won’t take long and currently being legged up. Great mare with looks and a good personality that will make just about anyone fall in love with her. She is current on feet,teeth, shots and deworming. Does have a scar on her left fetlock, does not bother her.
We do want to inform any parties interested that Rayna did undergo colic surgery in October 2022 for a displacement. We have a letter from Arizona Equine medical & surgical center stating that everything was routine and they have no reason to expect recurrence.
