Belle

Santa’s Toy Shop aka Belle is a super cute 4-year-old registered Gypsy Vanner mare with a baby doll head and all the presence you’d expect from the breed. She is PSSM1 and FIS negative through parentage. Belle goes beyond the typical kind Gypsy disposition , she is incredibly affectionate, curious, and genuinely enjoys being around people. She has been body clipped and does well with a groomer/dryer. She loves being handled, groomed, used, and ridden, and does not get sour.  LOVES baths and stands well for the extra care her hair and feathers require. On the ground, she is good-minded and easy to be around. Being young, her manners are still being reinforced, but she has a solid foundation in place. She has excellent, hard, round feet and is currently barefoot with no sensitivity, even on rocky terrain. Belle stands well for tacking, loads easily into the trailer, is good in a stall, and has no bad habits. She has great bone, a solid build, and stands 14.1 hands easily able to carry an adult. She has approximately 60–70 rides and has been a pleasure to work with. She’s been ridden around neighborhoods and out in the desert and is not a spooky type more curious than anything. If something catches her off guard, her reaction is minimal and she settles quickly. She is not herd-bound or barn sour and genuinely enjoys getting out. Under saddle, Belle is still considered green but is coming along nicely. She walks, trots, and canters, knows her leads, and continues to improve with guidance ,especially at the canter in smaller areas. She is learning to move off both rein and leg pressure and picks up right where she left off each ride Out in the desert, she’s been willing to go wherever she’s pointed, including through heavier brush, loose washes, and uneven terrain. She has a strong, forward walk outside the arena, while tending to be a bit more laid-back inside. Has been well taken care of and due to life changes Belle is looking for her new family. Current on feet, teeth, shots and deworming.
