Bruiser

Sweet Lil Bruiser is a 13 year old registered AQHA red roan gelding standing 14.2 hands. His papers speak for themselves with Peptoboonsmal, Peppy San Badger, Dual Pep and CD Olena on them. Bruiser is a gentleman, great ground manners, will stand tied for hours, bathes, loads and enjoys being groomed. Handles like one should in the arena as he has the foundation of reining/cutting training. Transitions are smooth and easy going up and down in speed, works off leg, neck reins, pivots, side passes and soft in the bridle. Gentle enough to help teach beginners but will get to work for the more advanced rider for arena work. Bruiser is a rope horse, could be considered a switch ender in the correct hands as he is not a big horse but knows how to rope both ends. Does better on the heeling side. He has had time off from the roping pen recently, not Bruisers fault. We did get current roping videos taken 3/28, by a rider who has never met or rode him before. In the box he stays quiet if his rider is quiet, rider mentioned he could use a very minimal tuning and some scoring if going back into the roping pen. Bruiser is not patterned on barrels or poles, but he easily does them. Could become a youths rodeo horse for multiple events. Not bothered by much and if he is, it’s very subtle. He does well out on the trail alone or with others, however he does walk out. Fine with traffic, dogs and any type of motorized vehicles. Bruiser could go into ranch riding classes with ease but it’s such a good gelding to make someone an all around horse. Been well taken care of and no maintenance has been required at this time. Current on feet, teeth, shots and deworming.
