Cisco

$10,200

Cisco Getza Bullseye is a 4-year-old AQHA gelding standing 15.1 at the withers and a little higher in the rear. He’s currently going through a growth spurt and will level out with time. Cisco carries a solid set of papers featuring all-around performance and ranch horses, including names like Sun Frost and Doc Quixote. He was started the right way on a working ranch in Montana, where he put in miles of outside riding, learned the day-to-day routine, and gained firsthand experience with calving season—catching and branding cattle included. His demeanor is sweet, curious, and he truly enjoys having a job, no matter what it is.

In the arena, Cisco has a good handle and is easy to get along with. He walk-trot-canter transitions smoothly, knows his leads, has a good stop, backs softly, yields to the bit, and side-passes. I’d consider him a medium energy type not hot or quick to take off, but not lazy either. He’ll move out a bit more with spurs, but they aren’t necessary it just depends on what you’re asking of him that day. On the trails, he does great. He’s not the type to go looking for things to spook at. If he does get unsure, the most he’s done is a slight side step. He rides out alone just fine might nicker if he hears or sees other horses but stays pretty quiet, especially when he’s got a buddy with him. Cisco is well behaved on the ground stands tied, bathes, loads easily, and is good for the farrier. He has that classic gelding personality and is always curious about what you’re doing if you’re out in the barn. He’s also been ridden English without issue. Overall, Cisco is a well-rounded prospect with a correct start. If kept on this path, he’ll be the kind of horse you can count on whether it’s a casual trail ride or more performance. No vices such as cribbing, weaving, bitting or kicking. Gets along well with others, middle of the pecking order. He is current on feet, teeth, vaccinations, and deworming. Please note the night before pictures were taken he bonked his head and took hair off his blaze, not blood just hair.
