Meet Cowboy! Very handsome, paint gelding with blue eyes, 14 years old and stands 15 hands. Overall, he is an easy and honest gelding that has not been passed around. Mainly been used for trail riding, has even competed a 16hr search & rescue course with previous owner along with attending some of Clinton Andersons Clinics. By no means would I call this gelding fancy broke but he knows how to get around nicely in the arena. He is more direct rein, but with light movements. You do not have to yank left and right to get around. Has very smooth gaits, knows his leads, will flex around and canter small circles. Cowboy is easy enough to get along with that I’ve had my advanced beginner students ride him in lessons, trying new things. When it comes to trail riding, he enjoys being out and about. Has a nice walk to him, checks things out and isn’t the spooky type. Doesn’t really care if he’s alone or with others, he may nicker back if someone talks to him first. He has good ground manners, lunges on a line, ties , bathes and loads. Cowboy is a sweet, affectionate guy that is looking for his human, he does enjoy having someone and will look for you. He is current on feet, teeth , shots and deworming.
