Heathers Good Grace is an 11 year registered Appaloosa mare, 100% foundation bred and standing a solid 15 hands. Gracie is honestly probably one of the sweetest, well broke and very easy going Appaloosa’s I’ve been around. She is literally for the entire family, big or little too young and old! Complete beginner she will babysit to being a work horse for the more advanced. Being used mainly for trails, from a stroll through the neighborhood, into the forest or over night camping trips. Extremely sure footed, will walk through or over anything in her path. Safe, “beer broke” with no funny business. Does great with traffic, quads, dogs and bikes. You step on and off you go. In the arena she has a true one hand neck rein, will move off leg, knows all her gaits. Can ride her in a saddle or bareback and works in just about any type of bit. I have personally thrown little kids to an extreme beginners on Gracie with not a worry in my mind. She will carry a flag, can throw a rope off or around her and will usually put up with any silly behavior her rider may throw at her. Been exposed to cattle and does fine, could easily do some sorting too. The kids have even messed around with barrels and poles, she has no idea what she is doing but her try for them is sweet. Has wonderful ground manners, will stands quietly tied all day long. Loves her bathes, a gem for the shoer and loads right into the trailer. Gracie could also be an asset to a lesson program for all level of riders. I know I will be asked but yes unfortunately Gracie did get the typical appy gene when it comes to a mane and tail and unfortunately that’s just part of her. She’s been well taken care of and is UTD on feet, teeth, shots and deworming.
