RHC Burned N Shined is an absolutely stunning 2 year old , AQHA registered mare currently standing 14.2 hands. Lena has been started slow and correctly by a gentleman that has invested many hours into her with the intentions to make her an all around horse. As the gentleman has gotten up in age, it has caused more pain than anything to continue to ride which is the only reason Lena is available. Starting with extensive ground work and desensitizing. Lena will lunge on a line, bathes clips, ties and loads into any trailer. She will cross through water, step over objects and will work through obstacles. Has a very curious personality and enjoys new things. One of the sweetest mares to be around and loves attention, there truly is no stranger in her eyes. When it comes to riding, I will say she is one of the nicest,  younger mares I’ve ever had the privilege of throwing a leg over. Stands still to mount and if you can’t mount from the ground, put her by the fence and she will move over to you. Rides very level headed, already soft and wants to ride around to please her rider. Walk, trots and canters, has smooth transitions with an amazing stop. Backs with ease, moves off leg and will turn around. Been exposed to cattle and has slowly started tracking the heel-o-matic, ropes and commotion do not bother her. Will carry a flag, mess with tarps , can ride her around bareback in a halter. The trust we have in this mare allows us to even out kids on her with supervision. Been out on the trails and does very well, mainly been out with other horses but could easily go out on her own too. Lena has the ability to become an all around horse, her conformation and mind will help her achieve this. Always been very well taken care of and is current on feet (trimmed), teeth, shots, deworming and is 5 panel clear.
